Aus-Mosis | $24 SOLD OUT
Comedian Te Rina Taite has lived in Australia for 14 years and despite her strong New Zealand roots, she has a love for the Aussiest of Australian things; budgy smugglers, Home & Away and Aussie rules. Join Te Rina as she hilariously debates her allegiance and the importance of culture.
Black Label Comedy | $29
A bit risqué, a bit exclusive, this show makes its premiere at the 2022 Sideshow festival and features four premium comedy acts providing audiences with top-shelf comedy!
Hot Chick / Tired Mum | $24
If you’re not a hot chick or a tired mum, do you have any value to society? An hour jam packed with jokes and songs from one of Sydney’s hardest working comedian. Steph Broadbridge’s first show ‘Female Music Comedian’ was nominated and shortlisted for ‘Best Comedy’ at Sydney Fringe Festival in 2019.
Secret Comedy Club | $29
Comedy, but it’s a secret! Shhhh! Only tell your closest 100 friends. Experience 5 of Sydney’s best comedians as they present their funniest material each show, with the lineup changing every show, making each experience unique.
Shambolic Doodles | $24
Professional ponderer and comedian Peter Gleeson has done the thinking for you. His shambolic word doodles will let you take a peek at things from a different angle. You might remember him from the previous festival shows Fun Bunny (Sydney Fringe 2016) and Frazzled (Sydney Comedy Festival 2017).
Shank Yourself Thin | $24
Weight loss surgery is a huge decision. It’s scary, it’s daunting. It’s also hilarious. Rob Andrews takes you step by step through the bariatric process, from his decision to take the leap, to the shakes, to the big day, the gas pain and all the way to his acceptance of his new body.
One of the Good Ones | $24
One of the Good Ones is about race, relationships and successfully failing to meet expectations. This show is Harry Jun’s light-hearted and heavy-handed approach to uncomfortable situations like the time someone came up to him after a show and told him he loved Triple J and was stoked that Harry was hosting it now (aaaah, that would be Michael Hing).
The Funniest Comedians You’ve Never Heard Of | $29
After a two-year run of sold out shows at Sydney Comedy Festival, and over 70 years of comedy experience between them, these three comedians deliver something for everyone, making this an ideal comedy event for couples or groups.
XOXO Gosford Girl | $24
An ex-Gosford resident trying to make people laugh with her jokes about fish and human pyramids? For one-night only, Fiona Cox performs the world premiere of Gosford Girl, a show about fears and hometowns and trying to get away from both of them.
The Venue for these shows is:
The Terraces
35 George St, The Rocks
We hope you can join us for some of these hilarious shows at the 2022 Sydney Fringe Sideshow Festival!
